Unfortunately, many people who could benefit from surgery are not being considered for this type of treatment, and continue to suffer the debilitating effects of life with seizures.  The Seizure Disorder Center at the University of California, Los Angeles specializes in the identification of these people and treatment with the most modern techniques available. The clinical team is composed of neurologists, clinical neurophysiologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, neuroradiologists, nurses and EEG technologists skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of seizures and epilepsy.  Our team of epileptologists has specialized training in the evaluation of the causes of disability related to seizures.  Neuropsychologists and occupational therapists play a major role in the assessment of disability and the planning of patient rehabilitation.
